On May 8, one of the most large-scaled event Wings for Life World Run was held for the third time in Kakheti.
Participants from 34 different countries started to run at the same time. With almost 6000 registered participants, 4026 participants were at the start line in Kakheti. Winner among women was Y.khmeleva ( 34.93 km) and winner among men was L.Croitoru (56. 02km).
100% of money raised for the event will be transferred to the Wings for Life Fund. PR and Marketing Communications Company GEPRA was partner and supporter of WFL 2016.
Tamar Machavariani, Senior Consultant and International Projects Coordinator at GEPRA took part in EMEA Leadership Institute Meeting (LIM) organized by Project Management Institute (PMI). Tamar and her colleagues attended LIM as a founders of PMI Tbilisi, Georgia Potential Chapter. Chapter will be officially formed till the end of 2016 (following of authorization from PMI) and its main goal will be introduction of project management international standards and development of project management profession in Georgia.

In the center of Batumi’s democratic involvement, the presentation of 2016-2020 years’ strategic plan of education, culture and sport ministry of Adjara’s autonomic republic was held. The document was facilitated by Gepra and it reflects the values, mission and common vision of the Ministry. The strategy includes 2016-2020 years’ education, culture, and sport and youth direction action plan in the Adjara region. The strategy also includes recommendations and procedures for monitoring and estimation, which help effectively control strategy execution and make changes in it. The document allows structural units of the Ministry to consider the education, culture, sport and youth direction in a unified work space, which is the basis of effective functioning for it. Gepra’s chief consultants Tamuna Machavariani and Kakha Magradze gave speeches at the event.
On March 29, at Rooms Hotel Tbilisi, the Corporate Social Responsibility Club (CSR Club) hosted a discussion over the new amendments to the Law on Broadcasting regulating media coverage of the business initiatives (including the corporate social responsibility initiatives). Representatives of the Georgian National Communications Commission, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Club members and national media organizations participated in the discussion.
