Khatuna Maghradze and Tako Varamashvili are attending a training related to gender equality, held by the non-governmental organization “Sapari” in cooperation with the CSR Club.
The training is for professionals that in charge with CSR, PR, marketing and social projects. In frames of the training, special focus will be put on elaborating the concepts of gender, gender equality, and discrimination.
In the GePRA Competency Center, the company Natakhtari and the Coalition for Children and Youngsters presented a program elaborated in unison to representatives of state agencies, specifically the Ministries of Labor, Health and Social Affairs, as well as Infrastructure and Regional Development.
The roundtable discussions were also attended by council members of the coalition, the media, and representatives of the Natakhtari Fund, Association Our Home – Georgia, Natakhtari Company, and GePRA.
Recommendations and results from joint work were discussed at the meetings, based on which the local self-governance would be able to support and empower young people left outside the care system.
Mziuri Park hosted the exhibition of photography project “Life with Rheumatoid Arthritis – when easy becomes hardest.” The aim of the event was to raise public awareness about Rheumatoid Arthritis.The photos belong to Goga Chanadiri. The manager of project was the senior consultant of Gepra, Tinatin Samkurashvili.
GEPRA, in frames of the contract with GIZ supports Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia in managing the DCFTA information website www.dcfta.gov.ge . The web page is created by the EU and GIZ program - Small and Medium Enterprise Development and DCFTA in Georgia, which is implemented in frames of the program EU4Business.
Website was publicly presented on June 19, 2017. GEPRA created website tutorial, which assists the visitors to search for information and navigate through website. The Presentation was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia – Mr. Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development – Mr. Giorgi Gakharia, other high ranked officials of Georgian Government, members of International Organizations, businessman and journalists. Natakhtari Fund and the Coalition will develop advocacy program for the youth left beneath the care system.
The Association of Communications Agencies Georgia, (ACAG) joined the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO).
Ekaterine Zhvania, the CEO of GEPRA will represent the association on the ICCO Board of management.
The social media manager of Gepra, Zura Balanchivadze, opened the Batumi International Business Forum. As an invited artist, he performed music to the audience.
A private screening was held in Gepra Competence Centre featuring the short films made by Georgian and Abkhazian youngsters.
During the process of making the films “Calm Chaos” (director: Tornike Beradze) and “Watchmen” (director: Eduard Araqeliani), Georgian and Abkhazian youngsters met each other 3 times in Italy and Armenia.
The participants overviewed the details of movie, challenges, relations between Georgian and Abkhazian youngsters and other important issues. The social media manager of Gepra, Zura Balanchivadze is one of the people, working on movie-making.
The senior consultant of Gepra, Nino Subeliani attended the media seminar, organized by State Security and Crisis Management Council. The event was organized by the European Commission Humanitarian Mission and Civil Defense Office Program "DIPECHO".
Training, conducted by British journalist Nigel Kay, aimed at preparing journalists in crisis situations, cooperating effectively between the media and the government, introducing the three-level disaster management system in Georgia and presenting policies regarding reducing risk of disasters.
