On October 13, Tbilisi hosted the largest international educational cardiologic symposium on "Modern and Future Methodologies in Treatment of Complex Tachyarrhythmias".

The symposium was organized by Medtronic, a leading world organization in medical technologies, as well as by Georgian heart rhythm associations, aiming to enhance the availability of advanced technologies, advantages of AF therapy, disease management theories and practices in the country.

The Director of GePRA, Ekaterine Zhvania, attended the meeting of the ICCO (The International Communications Consultancy Organization) Council in Finland. Ekaterine Zhvania is a member of the ICCO Council and representative of Georgia. Council members presented their respective countries’ market overviews, alongside the approval of the Helsinki Declaration, which represents the Code of Ethics.

The association presented a new president, Eli Mitchell, who replaced Maxim Behari after two years of productive work.

Who is Knocking on the Door, or Digital marketing – GePRA’s Competency Center hosted the training organized by DWV and led by GePRA’s Social Media Manager, Zura Balanchivadze, and GePRA’s Technology Development Manager, Lazare Gvimradze.

The training included introduction to social media and network platforms, primary usage principles, and discussions around message boxes, marketing opportunities, awareness raising tools, social media campaign implementation, and result measuring means.

CSR week of 2017 was opened with a non-formal discussion – “Business partnership about gender equality” The meeting discussions related to activities of the business sector regarding women’s empowerment, both inside the offices and through society at large.

In frames of the event, member organizations of the “women’s empowerment” work group shared their experienceson how to reduce discrimination and empower women. Businesses had an opportunity to present their ideas regarding the partnership, based on the5th goal of sustainable development.

PR and Marketing Communications Company “GePRA” begins Agile transformation; one of the market’s pioneers is expanding their services by way of moving to a new, innovative project management methodology. Agile is a flexible management methodology, enabling organizations to increase productivity and reduce project execution and decision-making times, additionally boosting efficiency in elaborating and implementing innovative services and products.

The company producing wine and other alcoholic products – GWS – held the event called “Feast of Bacchus” in Telavi, in the yard of one of the oldest wine factories located in Achinebuli. The aim of the event was to revive and modernize thetraditions of joy from drinking wine. Reporters were treated to a media tour in the houses of Kasri and Kvevri, allowing them to view the wine making processes. They also took masterclasses, got to know of rules for wine-drinking, and participated in other funny games. Foreign partners of GSW were invited at the event, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and the Chamber of Commerce – the Ambassador of France, his Excellency Mr. Pascal Megne, and members of the National Association of Wine, with the Ambassador of Telavi, representatives of local municipalities, representatives of government and business sectors and other officials.
