On April 13th, a general meeting for the “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Club” was held in Tbilisi Hotel “Rooms”. Up to 70 representatives from member organizations attended the event.

The primary purpose of the meeting was report presentation, during which several members of the Club showcased annual social responsibility reports from their respective organizations. Additional discussion topics touched on the state of social responsibility in Georgia as a whole.

New members of the club were also introduced at the meeting.

Private sector representatives united around “Clean Air”, a campaign opening ceremony held in Tech Park Georgia. In frames of the campaign, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Georgia’s Alliance for Safe Roads and GEPRA. The director of GEPRA, Ekaterine Zhvania, attended the event.

The “Clean Air” campaign launched on April 12th, and in its frames, representatives of the private sector are uniting in order to contribute in improving the country’s ecological state.

GEPRA’s staff members were awarded with certificates for raising awareness and practicing readiness for disaster risk reduction.

The Institute for Social Policy and Development trained GEPRA’s staff on disaster risk reduction in GEPRA’s Competency Center.

The goal of the training was to acquire knowledge and useful traits in dealing with natural or technological disasters, ensuring the further security and readiness for GEPRA’s staff in light of possible disasters.

The training was led by a Disaster Risk Management Expert - Teona Julukhadze.

Transparency International Georgia and the Coalition for Euro-Atlantic Georgia launched a joint campaign - “GEnter”, which was first presented in the Room Tbilisi Hotel.

Representatives of the coalition spoke about the primary concept and activities of the campaign with the guests, while representatives of the media, business, and various influencer groups talked about their participation in it.

GEPRA has developed the promotional video about the reforms, implemented in the public procurement sphere in Georgia.

Film tells the story about the results of the reforms, advantages of the electronic system of public procurement and engagement of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the public procurement process.

Video was created for the State Procurement Agency, with the assistance of GIZ "SME Development and DCFTA in Georgia" Project and with financial support of the European Union.

With support from the Association of Communication Agencies of Georgia (ACAG), for the first time in Georgia, the Art Directors’ Club Europe (ADCE) local event was held. ADCE is one of the most prestigious advertising and design events in Europe. The local event was held in GEPRA’s Competency Center.

The event was attended by a special guest, Anze Jereb - the executive creative director in Ukraine and Central Asia for the famous international advertising agency, BBDO. As part of the ADCE Jury Board, Anze talked about the festival and evaluation process.

GEPRA worked in close cooperation with the National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNCC) of Georgia, in cooperation with which the communication agency created a new logo and slogan, as well as developing a communication strategy for the client.

On March 24, the newly built Moxy hosted media representatives. Invited media became acquainted with the main concept of the hotel,  which is radically different from other hotel brands in Tbilisi.

Moxy is an ultra-modern and innovative brand that began its positioning in Eastern Europe through Georgia.

The Natakhtari company held a presentation of the global Czech brand "Staropramen". A special tour of the brewery was held for the invited guests.

The goal of the project is the restoration and the afforestation of the Mtatsminda slope that suffered through fires.The project scope includes setting boundaries and building terraces, irrigation systems, updating seedling spots, planting 3000 trees and cultivating a bio-diverse and self-sustaining environment on the territory.
