Soso Galumashvili, Chief Consultant of GEPRA, held a seminar-training in PR and Marketing communications.
Within the European Neighborhood Program of the EU-funded project "Improvement of Rural Development Models in Georgia", Nutsa Subeliani conducted a training on “PR and Media relations.”
The meeting was held at Dedoplistskaro, at the Ilia State University base. Local development teams from Borjomi, Lagodekhi and Dedoplistskaro participated.
Within the framework of the CSR Week, on October 2nd, a meeting was held on the theme: Strengthening of persons with disabilities in the business sector.
At the meeting there was a presentation of the principles of strengthening of IDPs, aimed at strengthening disabled people in the workplace, market and society.
Participants of the meeting received information about the activities of companies, that are directed to strengthening people with disabilities and, in particular, about the activities carried out for their employment.
On Octomber 1th, within the framework of "Business for Sustainable Development" was held a meeting about "Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace"
The following issues were discussed at the event:
1. Prevention of sexual harassment at the level of policy - potential legislative amendments.
2. Discussion: the scale of sexual harassment and the basis for its prevention.
3. Technical assistance to business.
On September 20th, an official ceremony of opening of the Western Georgia Folklore State center was held in Ozurgeti.
Gepra provided media support of the event.
On september 17th, the presentation of the awareness raising campaign “clean air, safe movement” was held.
The goal of the campaign is to raise public awareness on road safety theme. Within the framework, on september 17th-21th, there will be held “Civil Week” in regions of Georgia.
GePRA created creative concept of the campaign and provided media support.
On September 11th, the marketing event "Digital Communication for Changes" was held.
Kakha Maghradze talked about the challenges faced by PR.
A workshop was held at GEPRA to present the development strategy of the Human Resource Professionals' Association and discuss future plans. The meeting was attended by HRPA's management.
This activity was implemented under the Business Associations Development Program.
The Business Associations Development Program is funded by USAID project Governing for Growth (G4G) in Georgia.
Nutsa Subeliani presented GePRA’s services and direction of activities at a meeting with local advertising and consulting industry representatives of the Association of Communications Agencies. The presentation, which was held in Batumi, also included a wide discussion on anti-crisis communications.
On July 21-22, the Development Company m2 conducted a media seminar jointly with Ecovision and GEPRA on the topic of Forest Fire Prevention.
The following topics were discussed at the media seminar: restoration and rehabilitation processes related to the Mtatsminda Forest, environmental safety and fire prevention campaign in Tbilisi’s schools, and landscape reconstruction based on the example of the burned Mtatsminda slope.The seminar was interactive, covering both information distribution and discussions on specific topics.
