Gulf organized the celebration of the World Fuel Day. The event was aimed to raise awareness on the importance of using high quality fuel in order to take care of nature.
The development company M2 and Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) Georgia signed a cooperation memorandum, covering partnership between the parties and terms and conditions for cooperation in frames of the “We Are Ready! – Education for Safety and Disaster Risk Reduction through Inclusive Methods” project. The project is implemented by ASB and funded by the General Directorate of the Civic Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations of Europe.

This year's event was different from its predecessors: educational and discussion elements were added to the event. During the first half of the day, parallel lectures, master classes and panel discussions were held in 5 halls, in parallel to one another.

The development company “M2” has held a round table meeting where the environmental and partner organizations have discussed the technical conditions of the project for rehabilitation works of Mtatsminda. The aim of the project is to completely restore the area of 20 thousand square meters of land, and create an environment of biodiversity.
In frames of the "We Are Ready" campaign, ASB (Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund) conducted a simulation of an earthquake in Akaki Tsereteli State University. The event was implemented by the Emergency Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.The main purpose of the program was to bring awareness to topics of catastrophe risk reduction.
GePRA provided the concept and implementation of the campaign.
The event was held on October 15th in Mtatsminda Park, in frames of the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) World Week. The objective of the event was to inform the media about the results and future plans of the information campaign in a non-formal setting.
The project was headed by a Chief Consultant of GePRA, Tinatin Samkurashvili.
On October 13, the International Day for Disaster Reduction was celebrated. The National Center for Crisis Situation Management of the State Security and Crisis Management Council and 11 international organizations working in disaster management fields in Georgia conducted the joint event.
Representatives of state structures, international and local NGOs participated in the event.
