On 1 May Roche Georgia held a media seminar entitled – Hepatitis C – the Benign Killer at the Sheraton Metekhi Palace hotel. The main goal of the seminar was to provide information about the disease so that media outlets will release the correct information. PR support for this seminar was provided by GePRA.
Nodar Khaduri, the Georgian Minister of Finance, has visited the Marneuli Food Factory, Marneuli Agro and Teleti Farm, the three facilities which make up the Margebeli Holding. He said that Margebeli is doing very effective job of developing Georgian agriculture and that he is ready to help private business.
On April 25 A memorandum of cooperation was signed by The Farmer's Association' and Liberali. At the signing ceremony a special edition of Liberali magazine, devoted to agriculture, was released. Margebeli Holding, along with other companies, contributed to this special edition.
TbilisiMarathon has held a run in honour of the Boston Marathon bombing victims at Turtle Lake. US Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland participated in this event. He thanked Georgians for supporting the US in
difficult times. 11 different companies and the GAU Tbilisi PR School and its students also participated in the run.
GePRA has held a meeting with various government ministries and their PR departments as part of the “Developing the PR Practice of the Georgian Government” project. This is part of USAID’s 3G programme, financed by MSI.
On 27 March Natakhtari and Our Home – Georgia held a press conference at the Radisson Blu Iveria hotel at which their new project “Take Care of the Future“ was discussed. The two organisations intend to establish a fund to support homeless children and secure their future independence.
GEPRA is developing a special campaign which will inform local companies about the risks of using non-licensed Windows software. This project is supported by the international Business Software Alliance.
A collaboration agreement between GePRA and Heidelberg Cement has been signed. Under the terms of this agreement GePRA will provide a range of media services for the Tbilisi Marathon 2013.
A new agreement has been singed between GePRA and JSC Mina. This stipulates that the former will provide information support for Mina’s investment activities.
GePRA has launched a new information campaign for the Hotel Network which seeks to inform the media and public about the reconstruction and development of the infrastructure around the Abanotubani Hotel.
