On March 21st -22nd training was held at hotel Demi within the project Advocacy of Rights of Women with Disabilities.
Project was implemented by cooperation of PR and Marketing Communications Company Gepra and organization Woman and Reality. Training was held on the topic – Study of Effective Utilization of Media Communications. The goal of seminar was to identify priority problems for women with disabilities and develop all necessary messages for social advocacy.
On March 21st media workshop was held in Hotel Radisson Blu Iveria by GLA on the topic - Logistics - an important direction of country development. During the seminar following issues were discussed: tendencies observed in development of logistics sector in Georgia, dynamic of Cargo turnover, role of logistics for Georgian economy and what benefits can bring logistics sector development to state. Workshop was organized and supported by USAID/HICD PLUS and Georgia Logistics Association (GLA).
On February 21-23, in Lopota, Kakheti, a workshop was held for to the PR/Communications Department of Georgia’s State Chancellery and representatives of the PR departments of all the Ministries of Georgia. It was staged by the consortium led by PMCG with the consultants of Gepra, in order to develop a framework for a new PR/Communications platform with a focus on improvements in the department’s internal and external communications mechanisms. The workshop was part of the USAID Good Governance in Georgia (G3) program, and launched the project Strengthening PR/Communications Department of the State Chancellery of the Government of Georgia (GoG) on December 2013.
February 12, GEPRA's Senior Consultant, Soso Galumashvili held a public lecture on the topic "PR and communications". Lecture was held in The Centre for Economics and Business Research Consultancy "Doctrina Business Review.
February 7th, at the hotel "Radisson", " Natakhtari Fund " and " Association Our Home Georgia, held the conference under the project "Care for the Future ".
The conference aimed to promote integration of underprivileged children In sociaty.
In the conference participated public agencies, international and non-governmental organizations, as well as large business companies and the media olso.
Charity Auction of contemporary Georgian Artists was held at Gamrekely Gallery on January 30. The event was attended by media and business sector representatives. All paintings were sold at the event and overall GEL 11,500 got collected. The auction proceeds will be transferred to Natakhtari Fund Account.
This amount will be used for the Fund Project Take Care of Future assisting children deprived of parental care and allowing them to find their niche in the society. The event, in addition to popularization of contemporary Georgian Art, aimed to assist inmates of small family-type homes and large institutions.
The following Georgian artists took part in the event: Oleg Timchenko, Gia Gugushvili, Misha Shengelia, Mamuka Tsetskhladze, Vakho Bughadze, Koka Tskhvediani, Ushangi Khumarashvili and Lia Shvelidze will take part in the campaign.
