PR & Marketing Communications Company “Gepra” issues a contest for artists and designers to create an illustration based on “The Flea and The Ant” fairy tale. Choose a moment from the tale you like the most, draw it, make it to the final stage and win a prize.

The contest is divided into two stages. During the first stage, the participant chooses a scene to draw and creates it over a span of two weeks. During the second stage, a competent board of judges will choose the three best entries and give an additional week to these three artists to design a cover for the same tale.

Finally, the book will be published with the illustrations of the winner, for which the artist will have to create an additional 12 drawings of various scenes (details regarding the scenes will be disclosed to the winner separately). The winner will also receive an A3 Wacom Digital Tablet as a prize.

Entry submission will begin on September 22nd and end on October 6th. Submissions will be evaluated by a board of competent judges: artist Gia Gugushvili, artist and professor of the Academy of Arts, Tamaz Varvaridze, photo journalist Goga Chanadiri, CEO of GEPRA Ekaterine Zhvania, and Senior Consultant at GEPRA, Soso Galumashvili.

On September 12-13, in hotel Lopota, PR and Marketing Communications Company GEPRA’s senior consultant, Nino Subeliani held training for the representatives of Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

The training includes the following modules: targeted communications and speech technology, relations with media and presentation skills. The aim of the training was to develop practical skills in several areas of communication, such as: message delivery and feedback process,  body language etc.

The training and final works were rated by GEPRA’s senior consultant Soso Galumashvili.

On September 6, on the territory of Rabati Castle “Meskheti Festival 2014” took place. Ancient region of Georgia, Meskheti history and culture, folklore, handcrafts, different kinds of products – visitors of the event had opportunity to view and taste all of these.

It is already second year that the TV “Metskhre Arkhi” organizes the event on the territory of Akhaltsikhe . During the event Marneuli Food Factory “Pickles and Jams Day” was organized.

On September 2014, PR and Marketing Communications Company Gepra became a member or German Economic Association (DWV). Membership provides exclusive partnership of the parties in social and economic spheres. The members will share their experience among each other, will organize joint events and forums. Also, parties will have strategic cooperation in order to offer their clients better services.

On 1-2 September, along with the “Batumoba 2014”, “Marneuli Food Factory” “Pickles and Jams Day” was celebrated. The event was held at the entrance of 6 May Park in Batumi.

Along with the locals, tourists and representatives of Government of Autonomous Republic of Adjara participated in the event. During the event, visitors had opportunity to taste and buy delicious pickles and jams produced by “Marneuli Food Factory”. During two days of the festival, guest had opportunity to buy the products for the special price.

The festival was opened with the performance of folk band “Modzakhili”. As for the children attending the event, they met their favorite fairy tales characters, along with the animators and actors.

Traditional horse racing and different sports competitions were held in Bakhmaro on August 19th.  On the same date, “Marneuli Food Factory” “Pickles and Jams Day” had its successful start. This year, Bakhmaro’s horse racing was held in 4 stages, on different distances, with 3 winners on each distance, all together 12 winners of the day.

Competition also was held in different weight categories and absolute weight in Georgian wrestling. This year, “Margebeli Holding” has awarded three winners, who were given “Nabeghlavi” and “Bakhmaro” cups and prizes. At the event, along with the local participants, there were horse riding fans, resort guests, local authorities and sports society representatives. “Margebeli Holding” and “National Tourism Administration” organized special media tour for the journalists, in order to have their attendance the event.

PR and Marketing Communications Company GEPRA, starts to work on environmental issues and promotes the awareness campaign in this direction. Communication campaign works on actualization of important directions such as: prevention of pollution, waste management, biodiversity development, polyethylene materials impact on flora and fauna, human rights and health. The main aim of the campaign is to create the platform to plan and solve environmental issues, with the engagement of environment public of private agencies, also civil society groups working on social issues, international experts, business and media sector representatives.

On July 24-25, Georgian Employers Association’s Trainings and Consultancy Center organized training: “internal audit of quality management system”. The aim of the training was to study the interpretations of the requirements of the internal audit process according to the ISO 9001.

The participants, who had successfully undergone the training and passed the exams, were awarded with the TÜV SÜD Industrie Service Gmb internal audit certificates. The trainers were TÜV SÜ international experts doctor Ulrich Krauze and Olga Kolchina.

GEPRA’s  PR  and  Marketing Communications Company has  an agreement   with  Chinese  mobile  production  company Huawei.

The cooperation plans, promotion,  TV  commercials,  placement of ads, BTL-safety  stock  arrangement, and the development of a social  media   platform  and  its implementation. 

On July 16th, in hotel “Tbilisi Marriott”, presentation of the results of supply chain sector was made with the partnership of Georgian Logistics Association, USA Supply Chain Council and Economic Prosperity Initiative of USAID.

In the survey participated representatives of 20 different companies from different sectors: retail, production, pharmacy, consumer goods sales and electronics.
