On 11th of July, in Subway restaurant (near sport palace) memorandum of cooperation was signed between “Foodpanda Georgia” and “Subway” franchise owner “Sub Development Group”.

According to the memorandum, “Foodpanda” customers can order all the products available in Subway restaurant.

Memorandum was signed by “Foodpanda Georgia” director George Kerkadze and representative of the “Subway” franchise owner group Givi Ordenidze. Regional director of Foodpanda, Pavel Netreba also attended the signing ceremony.

PR and Marketing Communications Company GEPRA has signed a contract with “Foodpanda Georgia”, Ltd. The partnership signifies an image and publicity increasing PR campaign conducted by GePRA.

On June 23-27, in Georgian Parliament National Library “Liberty Hall”, in terms of the project “ Public libraries for local development”, training was held for the pilot library staff ( Khidistavi, Khulo, Nukriani, Zugdidi). The training was carried out by GePRa’s Social Media Manager Zura Balanchivadze.  Project “Public libraries for local development” is sponsored by IREX in terms of the program Beyond Access. Aim of the program is to launch the model of the library, which will help rural population use different kinds of services and to receive needed information.

From June 17 to July 18 senior consultant of GEPRA Kakha Magradze will participate in GGPAS (USAID funded project) project in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan as an international consultant. The purpose of this assignment is to help the State Personal Service (SPS) to improve its internal communications processes. Once complete, this will help improve the overall transparency and public outreach of the SPS. The consultant will work in close collaboration with a local consulting company and in coordination with the SPS to develop a three-year (2014-2016) communications strategy, train SPS staff, and develop an operational manual. 

On May 19th, on the territory of the National Broadcaster, company “Natakhtari” organized special press conference in order to announce new lottery. During the press conference, marketing director of Natakhtari, Tornike Nikolaishvili, sports commentator of the National Broadcaster, David Minashvili and Lottery spokesperson Bacho Kajaia,  gave answers on the questions of  media representatives and talked about the lottery details.

The subject of the lottery 2014 is the World Cup.

On May 12th, 2014 Natakhtari congratulated Georgia’s National Rugby Team on moving to final stage of World Cup and awarded it with the bonus of USD 150,000. Event took place at Stelzen Haus, Tbilisi.

Levan Kipiani, the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia attended the award ceremony. He congratulated rugby players and thanked them for achievements they brought to Georgia. Natakhtari awarded the Minister with the Certificate of Appreciation for his contribution to Georgian sports development.

Representatives of sports media and famous rugby fans along with players attended the evening.

Natakhtari also awarded journalists with the Certificates of Appreciation.

On May 4th, 2014 the largest marathon, Wings for Life World Run was held.

Start was taken over simultaneously in 40 countries.  More than 3000 runners took part in Marathon in Kakheti, Georgia.

The winners among the women become MARIELLE CARMAGNOLLE, who run 25, 34 km and among the men ANATOLI OLEINIKOVI, who run 52.65 km.

The funds raised from this event will be fully transferred to Wings for Life Fund, which runs medical and clinical research for a cure for spinal cord injury.

Despite the situation in Ukraine organizers of festival decided Kiev to be the host of International Advertisement Festival KIAF 2014 after Lvov and Odessa.

Works at Kiaf 2014 will be evaluated by three criteria: design, PR and digital imaging. Members of Jury were chosen by the Ukraine Association of Public Relations and decision was made to invite Mr. Soso Galumashvili, Senior Consultant at Gepra as expert from Georgia.

On March 27th the presentation on intermediary results of Supply Chain Industry Survey was held at hotel Tbilisi Marriot. Presentation was organized by Georgian Logistics Association in cooperation with Supply Chain Council of USA and USAID EPI (Economic Prosperity Initiative). Supply chain industry survey was conducted by Georgian Logistics Association and Supply Chain Council which covered Georgia based local and international companies and aims to evaluate and compare supply chain and logistic processes regionally and internationally.

On March 26th Fund Natakhtari held press conference at hotel Tiflis Palace.

Aim of press conference was to inform society about the funds gathered during the third donation, as well as about the projects implemented by fund in 2012 – 2013 and future plans. Actual amount of funds collected is confirmed by international audit company – PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
